Rules for picking up a kitten

Picking up a kitten from our cattery is a moment we look forward to together with its new owner. We make every effort to ensure this process is peaceful, safe, and completely comfortable for both the owner and the kitten.
Below are the rules for picking up kittens at Silver Friends*PL

1. Date of collection of the kitten
Kittens leave our cattery at the age of 14 weeks at the earliest.
This is the moment when they are properly socialized, emotionally stable, fully independent and ready for a change of environment.
2. Possibility of visiting before booking
If you're unsure about choosing a kitten, we invite you to visit our cattery. You can meet the kittens in person, see their temperament and behavior, and assess which one bonds best with you. Visits are by appointment.
3. Documentation and preparation for the road
Each kitten receives a health booklet or passport on the day of collection.
(in case of going abroad), full vaccination and deworming package appropriate to age, microchip number entered into the database, FIFe pedigree confirming origin.
4. Kitten layette
To get off to a good start, each little one receives a layette for the first days in their new home.
5. Transport of kittens - Poland and abroad
Personal collection from our cattery is welcome, although on request we deliver kittens in person throughout Poland - safely, in conditions that minimize stress for the animal.
For trips to European Union countries, we only work with proven, certified transport companies that provide professional animal care.
6. Kittens "on your lap"
Kittens sent to new homes as "lap cats" are spayed/neutered by our cattery before leaving the nest - for their health and in accordance with the principles of responsible cynology.
